Create your account and log in for the first time

Dolcefy gives you two things when you start: an account at dolcefy.com, where your plan, invoices and payment card live, and your own workspace at yourname.dolcefy.com, where you build and run your business. You log in to both with the same email address.

1. Open a free account

1. Go to dolcefy.com and choose Start for free.
2. Pick the studio that matches what you do: Commerce Studio for shops, designers and makers; Creative Studio for courses, coaching and consulting; Hospitality Studio for restaurants, wineries, agriturismi, hotels, salons and clubs. The Free plan is the same in every studio, so the choice only decides which features and agents are shown to you first. See Studios and plans: which one is yours.
3. Fill in your details. The field Site Address is the name of your workspace: it becomes your address, for example myshop.dolcefy.com. Use 3 to 30 lowercase letters, digits or hyphens. You can connect your own domain later on a paid plan.
4. Confirm. The Free plan has no payment step and no card is asked.

2. Wait for the welcome email

Your workspace is created automatically and is usually ready within a couple of minutes. You then receive a welcome email from Dolcefy with the link to set your password. The link opens your own workspace, not dolcefy.com.

If the email does not arrive within ten minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us from the support form with the email address you registered.

3. Log in to your workspace

Your workspace address is https://yourname.dolcefy.com. Bookmark it: this is where you work every day. The first screen shows the apps you have, for example Website, Contacts, Email Marketing and Courses. [SCREENSHOT: the home screen of a new workspace]

Dolcefy works in any modern browser. Building pages and emails is most comfortable on a desktop screen; checking orders, contacts and messages works well on a phone.

4. Your account at dolcefy.com

Log in at dolcefy.com with the same email address to open My account. It has four cards: Your Subscriptions (your plan), Your Payment Plans (instalment plans, if you have any), Billing (your payment card and receipts) and Your Dolcefy platform, which shows the address of your workspace and takes you straight to it if you have forgotten where it lives. Forgotten your password?

On the login page of your workspace choose Reset Password and enter your email address. A new link arrives within a few minutes.

One account, one business

A Dolcefy account runs one workspace. If you run a second business, open a second account with another email address. If you ever cancel and come back, you can subscribe again on the same account and your workspace is kept.
